Comprehensive
Assessments
Finding the most effective solutions begins with gaining
an adequate understanding of the particular difficulties a child or family may be experiencing, as well as their strengths,
resources and capacities for change and growth.
Comprehensive assessments are often essential to ensure an
accurate understanding of the child's difficulties and that child receives the most appropriate interventions and services.
Many children diagnosed with ADHD also have other important issues that need to be addressed. Without a comprehensive
assessment, these concerns can be easily missed, leading to inadequate solutions to these children's difficulties. At
the same time, not all children who are inattentive or hyperactive have ADHD. A comprehensive assessment significantly
reduces the risk of children being misdiagnosed and receiving inappropriate treatment.
We offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD and related concerns
as well as for the various difficulties confronting parents and families.
